Master Tagalog vocabulary with Pinya's wordbook. Use memorization mode and shuffle for effective review.
What is the Wordbook?
The Wordbook is where all your saved words live. Access it from the "Wordbook" tab to review and practice your vocabulary.
Basic Usage
Adding Words
From any word's detail page in the dictionary, tap "Add to Wordbook". The date you added it is recorded automatically.
Removing Words
When you've mastered a word, you can remove it from your wordbook. Keep your list focused on words you still need to practice.
Memorization Mode
Turn on Memorization Mode to hide the meanings of your saved words.
- Toggle Memorization Mode on
- Look at the word and try to recall its meaning
- Tap to reveal the answer
It works just like paper flashcards — perfect for quick review sessions during commutes or breaks.
Shuffle
Tap the Shuffle button to randomize the word order.
Studying in the same order can lead to memorizing by position rather than meaning. Shuffling ensures you truly know each word.
Wordbook Quiz
You can also take a quiz using only your saved words. This is available once per day and tests how well you've retained the words you chose to study.
